Welcome to the Chappell Studios Art website, home of portraits and fine art by Ellis and Reed Chappell. Our website is currently being updated and will continue to be updated over the next few months as videos, images, and blog entries are added.
One of the new additions planned for the Chappell Studios Art site will be a video section featuring time lapse films of a few of our portraits taken during their creation. In addition to being visually entertaining, this is an excellent window into the artistic process and the choices a painter makes in the course of a painting. In addition to the videos we will be adding in the upcoming months, blog entries on the crafts of portraiture and art theory will be added for those interested.
